Your team is running on stress. This is an hour that actually helps.
Workplace stress isn't just a personal problem. It shows up in your team's focus, creativity, communication, and capacity to perform.
A guided sound session offers something most wellness programs can't: a deeply restorative, zero-effort reset that works for everyone in the room, including the skeptics.

WHat is a corporate sound bath?
A corporate sound bath is a guided acoustic experience that shifts your team's nervous system from stress activation into rest, measurably reducing tension, improving mental clarity, and leaving people feeling genuinely restored.
It's not meditation (no effort, no experience required). It's not a yoga class (no movement, no physical ability needed). It's a completely passive, inclusive experience where participants simply lie down or sit comfortably and receive the sound. The room does the work.
Sessions are held on-site at your location and are suitable for any group size, from small leadership teams to full-staff events.
The science, briefly
Sound baths work by activating the parasympathetic nervous system (the body's rest-and-digest response) which counteracts the chronic fight-or-flight state that drives burnout. Peer-reviewed research published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine found that sound meditation significantly reduced tension, fatigue, and anxiety in participants. A 2025 scoping review across 34 peer-reviewed studies confirmed that sound-based interventions measurably reduce cortisol levels, heart rate variability, and blood pressure in adults.
This isn't a trend. It's applied acoustics with a measurable physiological mechanism.
Organizations including Google, Apple, Microsoft, and the World Health Organization have integrated sound-based wellness into their programming, reflecting a broader shift toward evidence-informed, low-barrier interventions for high-performing teams.
Why this works for your team
It requires nothing from participants. Unlike meditation or breathwork, there's no technique to learn, no experience needed, and no risk of someone feeling like they're doing it wrong. This makes it one of the most accessible wellness offerings available, regardless of background, fitness level, or prior wellness experience.
It works on skeptics. The physiological response to sound doesn't require belief. Participants who arrive doubtful routinely leave calm. The body responds whether the mind is on board or not.
It serves diverse teams. This practice is non-religious, culturally inclusive, and accessible to employees with physical limitations. No special equipment, attire, or preparation is needed.
It creates measurable outcomes. Reduced stress. Improved focus. A tangible shift in the energy of the room. Teams consistently report feeling more connected, more grounded, and more present following a session, the kind of outcome that carries into the rest of the work day.
Why meghan cornett
Most sound practitioners work with singing bowls and gongs. Meghan brings something different.
As a classically trained flautist who studied at McGill University (one of Canada's leading music schools) she trained under some of the world's foremost flute players. That level of formal musicianship is woven through every session. What your team will experience is not a generic wellness offering where instruments are struck and left to ring. It is live sound at the level of art, combined with intentional nervous system support.
Meghan also holds training in somatic therapy and nervous system regulation, which means she understands not just the acoustic side of this work, but the physiological one. Sessions are thoughtfully structured, professionally facilitated, and designed to feel safe and grounded for every participant in the room.
She is Ottawa/Gatineau-based and brings all equipment on-site, making the logistics simple for your team.
Meghan is fully bilingual and sessions can be delivered entirely in English, French, or in a bilingual format, making this offering accessible to the full range of Ottawa and Gatineau's diverse workforce.
Ways to work together
A 60-minute on-site experience, ideal for wellness days, team events, offsites, and retreats. Includes a brief science-grounded introduction so participants understand what's happening and why, a full sound immersion, and a grounded close. Meghan brings all instruments and handles full setup and teardown.
A shorter 30–45 minute format is also available for lunch breaks or mid-day resets.
Single session
Monthly or quarterly sessions designed to build cumulative benefit over time. Includes a simple pre- and post-session check-in so your team can observe their own shift. Best suited for organizations investing in ongoing employee wellbeing as a cultural commitment rather than a one-time event.
Workshop series
Both options are available for groups of any size. A tailored proposal is available on request.
What your team will need
Very little. A cleared conference room, boardroom, or open-plan space is sufficient. Participants can bring a yoga mat, blanket, or cushion, or simply use a chair. Meghan handles the rest.
Sessions are available in English, French, or bilingual format to suit your team's needs.
FAQs

In a traditional meditation class, participants are asked to focus, breathe in specific ways, or hold particular mental states. A sound bath requires none of that. The sound guides the nervous system into rest on its own. It is a passive experience from start to finish.
-
Any cleared room works (a boardroom, conference room, or open-plan area). Participants can lie down on mats or sit in chairs. Meghan handles full setup and teardown and can advise on space configuration in advance.

A note on the research, in case you need it
If you're building an internal case for this offering, the following may be useful. Peer-reviewed studies have found that sound-based interventions measurably reduce cortisol, lower heart rate, and decrease self-reported tension and anxiety. A 2025 scoping review across 34 published studies confirmed that sound interventions effectively reduce physiological stress markers including cortisol levels, heart rate variability, and blood pressure. Mental health challenges cost Canadian employers an estimated $16.6 billion in lost productivity every year. According to a 2025 Mental Health Research Canada report, burnout alone costs between $5,500 and $28,500 per employee annually, and 39% of Canadian employees are currently experiencing it.
A 60-minute investment in genuine nervous system recovery is among the lowest-cost, highest-accessibility interventions available.
